On Thursday 24th April I had a lunchtime walk at Waltham St Lawrence Berkshire, I parked up in Halls Lane and took the footpath across the field towards the railway line.
Walking across the field, I saw Buzzard, Skylark, Woodpigeon & Carrion crow. I crossed the bridge and followed the footpath.
The path came out to the fields and I turned left past the Rape field, in the hedgerow and rape field were three singing and displaying male Whitethroats.
! then came to another bridge and and this footpath lead back to my car. Also seen were Pheasant, Wren, Robin, Blackbird, Song thrush, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Blue tit, Magpie & Chaffinch.
