Friday 19th September and a quite day at work, so in the afternoon I drove down to Sandy Point on Hayling Island for the long staying Red-backed shrike. I walked out to where another birder was standing and he put me onto the Red-backed shrike which was sitting in some gorse, it moved before I could get a record shot, but a kestrel came down so I took its photo.
