Thursday 4th August, and on my way home from working in Brighton stopped of at The Burgh Amberley West Sussex, seeing Buzzard, Kestrel, GREY
PARTRIDGE, Pheasant, Woodpigeon, Wren, Blackbird and Linnet.
TOTAL FOR YEAR = 183
No calls on wednesday 10th August, so drove up to RSPB Otmoor, had a nice walk around adding COMMON CRANE, to the year list.

1st September and as working in Bournemouth, had a lunchtime walk at Lytchett fields Upton, where I saw a nice WOOD SANDPIPER, Sadly no photo, but did get this Ruff.

7th September had a call in Romford, and when the was call completed, I went to Blue House Farm North Fambridge Essex, getting great views of a PECTORAL SANDPIPER, from one of the hides.

7th September, spent the morning working in Chinford, and then shot down to Little Deep Thorney Island West Sussex for the RED-NECKED PHALAROPE. Then on to Farlington Marshes for LITTLE STINT, CURLEW SANDPIPER & WHINCHAT

No calls on 8th September, so drove up to Alkborough Flats Lincolnshire hoping to see the Purple Swamphen, I Dipped :o(
14th September and after working in Leicester, went to RSPB Middleton Lakes Staffordshire for the GREAT WHITE EGRETs.

19th September and as working close to Staines Reservoirs, went there for my lunchtime walk, seeing:Great crested grebe, Cormorant, Grey heron, Mute swan, Canada goose, Wigeon, Gadwall, Teal, Mallard, Pintail, Shoveler, Pochard, Tufted duck, COMMON SCOTER,Coot, Lapwing, Common sandpiper, Black-headed gull, Woodpigeon, Pied wagtail, Robin, Wheatear, Magpie, Carrion crow, Starling & Linnet.
