Win Hill Peak District Derbyshire

Thursday 11th September and work took me to Sale and Manchester (drove past Man Utd - Old Trafford). I finished my calls around 13:00, so dug out my old map from the boot, and thought Castleton in the Peak District looked good for an afternoon walk. On arriving in Castleton I decided to see if there were any Red grouse around, so I went into the Speedwell cavern gift shop to ask, and was given great directions to Win Hill. I parked up at Twitchill farm and walked up to the heather moor. Sadly no Red grouse only Meadow pipits and a swallow, but great views on this warm sunny day.
