Monday 4th March I parked up near Hackbridge station had a morning walk looking into Beddington Farmlands, the main reason for coming here was to see the Tree Sparrows. On the walk over the bridge I saw Magpie, Feral Pigeon, Woodpigeon, Blue Tit & Dunnock, and when I reached the fence I turned right and walked up the path so the sun was behind me, then I looked over the small lakes, seeing Grey Heron, Mute Swan, Canada Goose, Gadwall, Teal, Shoveler, Moorhen, Coot, Lapwing, Black-headed Gull, Common Gull, Herring Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull & Carrion Crow. I then walked back along the path the the gate to view the main lake, on here I added Great Black-backed Gull and Tufted Duck. Then I continued along the path until I got to the last lake, on here I added Mallard, on the way there and back I stopped to look into Beddington Farmlands and in the trees and bushes lining the path I saw the following, Kestrel, Ring-necked Parakeet, Green Woodpecker, Wren, Robin, Blackbird, Great Tit, Jackdaw, House Sparrow, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Lesser Redpoll and of course Tree Sparrows.
