Last chance of some birding in 2014
Wednesday 24th December, I headed down to Eyeworth Pond near Fritham, where I added MANDARIN to my year list. The Muscovy ducks were a hit with all the children that came to feed the ducks.
I then went to Blashford lakes, starting at Kingfisher lake where I looked and failed to locate the drake Ferruginous duck.
I then went to the visitor centre and spent some time in the Woodland hide.
