Again I was working on a site in Poole, No Wood Sandpiper at Lychett Bay 31st July. I did some looking on the internet in the morning,
and at lunchtime I parked up near the STW down Slough Lane, and joined the cows
to view the flooded water meadow.
No Wood Sandpiper, 4 Snipe, 2 Lapwing, 2 Little egret, 1
adult Common gull in with the Black-headed gulls, a family of Pied wagtails, 1
Reed warbler, 1 recently fledged Reed Bunting and 3 House martins being the
highlights.
